Medication-Related ONJ (MRONJ) Consensus Statement

Released March 2026 by Healthy Bones Australia (HBA).

This new consensus statement for Dentists and GPs provides clear guidance on managing medication-related ONJ. This rare medication-related issue has previously caused concern for consumers and health professionals. The development of the guideline involved broad collaboration and is endorsed by HBA, Australian Dental Association, Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society, Endocrine Society of Australia and Australian Rheumatology Association.
