These guidelines have been written to be used by specialists who prescribe ADT to patients with prostate cancer. They are derived from a pilot program carried out by the rheumatology department at John Hunter Hospital, an ensuing literature review and subsequent consensus amongst treating specialists. Healthy Bones Australia do not support or endorse but highlight these recommendations as part of a focus on bone health.
