Accredited and evidenced-based education to improve knowledge about bone health and osteoporosis management. An understanding of patient risk and management approaches will help reduce the burden of this chronic disease nationally.

Healthy Bones Australia is committed to health professional education and has engaged in a broad range of activity which has included

• expert speakers and information booths at national GP conferences and webinars for general practice
• development of Clinical Guidelines in partnership with Royal Australian College of General Practice
• evidence based Guidelines for Osteoporosis Management for Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists
