Healthy Bones Australia congratulates two distinguished doctors who have been recognised for their contributions in Australia.

Associate Professor Chris Hogan has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia recognising his outstanding achievement and service to the area of Medicine. Associate Professor Hogan is based at Melbourne University and remains a practicing GP and is a member of Healthy Bones Australia National Consumer and Community Advisory Committee and has assisted the organisation with many national initiatives.

Professor Rebecca Mason has been awarded the Order of Australia, for significant service to tertiary education, and to professional associations.Professor Mason is a life member of the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society and an Internationally recognised Vit D expert and former Deputy Director of the Bosch Institute at the University of Sydney. Professor Mason is a long serving Board Member of Healthy Bones Australia.
