Latest Honour List acknowledges two experts in the bone field

Healthy Bones Australia congratulates two distinguished doctors who have been recognised for their contributions to Australia.

Associate Professor Chris Hogan has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia, recognising his outstanding achievement and service to the area of Medicine. Associate Professor Hogan is based at Melbourne University and remains a practising GP and is a member of the Healthy Bones Australia National Consumer and Community Advisory Committee and has assisted the organisation with many national initiatives.

Professor Rebecca Mason has been awarded the Order of Australia for significant service to tertiary education and professional associations. Professor Mason is a life member of the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society, an Internationally recognised Vitamin D expert, and former Deputy Director of the Bosch Institute at the University of Sydney. Professor Mason is a long-serving Board Member of Healthy Bones Australia.
