Diverse Language Resources for Bone Health

Healthy Bones Australia has expanded the translated resources to include materials in Korean and Spanish.

The new translated material is available at the Resource Hub on the website and aims to protect bone health in the community.

These translated information explains calcium, vitamin D and exercise for bone health and reviews medications for osteoporosis.

These new resources add to the existing materials available in Arabic, Greek, Italian, Punjabi, Chinese (simplified and traditional) and Vietnamese.

The resources reflect diverse communities across Australia with a focus on prevention.

Healthy Bones Australia CEO Greg Lyubomirsky said “this translated information aims to help both consumers and GPs. We want to ensure adults with risk factors for osteoporosis talk to their doctor and are investigated.”
