Home › News › NAIDOC Week 2026 NAIDOC Week 2026 Published July 7, 2026 This NAIDOC Week, 5-12 July, we celebrate and recognise the history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are highlighting the importance of bone health in First Nations communities and sharing our dedicated resources. Raising awareness of risk factors can help everyone take steps to protect their bone health earlier. Bone density testing may be recommended for people at higher risk of osteoporosis. We encourage First Nations communities and health workers to explore our resources, start conversations about bone health and speak with your Aboriginal Community Health Workers or Practitioners about whether a bone density test may be required.
