Raising awareness with GPs

Healthy Bones Australia Medical Director, Associate Professor Peter Wong,  presented at the Health GP Conferences in Melbourne (15 July) and Sydney (22 July) to over 3,000 delegates combined.

The investigation of risk factors by GPs to capture and diagnose osteoporosis early remains critical to protect bone health in the community and prevent unwanted fractures.

Healthy Bones Australia hosted an information booth at the events to distribute GP material and copies of consumer guides for use in GP practices.
